Working with the visionary chart-topping artist reinventing pop for the streaming generation.

To accompany her genre-defying Vroom Vroom EP, British artist Charli XCX wanted to come out loud with an image refresh. Extending from her styling through the concept for the music video and on to the artwork for the album and its promo, this project drew influence from a host of pop-culture references.

Hype Williams camera pumps and angles, a Britney Spears PVC bodysuit, David LaChapelle neon-infused sets and a bump of MDNA Girl Gone Wild monochromatic realness, all paired with a cast of influencers, artists, bloggers and models challenging identity and gender norms through their creativity.

The result? 15m views and an aesthetic revolution for an artist rewriting the sound of pop.
